Police: Man Showed Up At Court Hearing Drunk

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Police arrested a Lawrenceville man accused of showing up drunk to the city's municipal court to answer to previous public intoxication charges.
Police charged Phillip Ingram, 49, with being under the influence.
An officer believed he smelled alcohol coming from Ingram when he was checking in at Lawrenceville Municipal Court on a public intoxication charge about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
An officer confronted Ingram and police said a breath analysis later registered his blood alcohol level at 0.14, nearly twice the limit for driving.
Lawrenceville police said this is Ingrams' 13th arrest by Lawrenceville police since 2003.
